In 2001, our founders Graham and Lorraine wanted to start their own business using their skills and creativity that they could operate from their home. They found promotional merchandise and the Impress brand and have never looked back!
As time went on, the business evolved and has gone from strength to strength. Initially all orders were printed in house (literally in the dining room!) using a manual pad printer, foil blocker and heat press machinery mainly producing orders in small quantities. Nowadays the order sizes have increased as larger companies, including blue chips, universities and government departments have been added to the growing list of clients. We continue to maintain connections to many small businesses in our local area so have an enviable mix of customers, many of whom have been loyal to the business from the early years.
Impress expanded to include Graham and Lorraine’s children, Rachael and James, who brought a new, fresh perspective to the business but continued to support the strong customer service ethos that is so important to Graham and Lorraine. Various friends and family have helped the business over the years, including Graham’s brother Andy who works in the print room as the Production Manager.
Whilst Rachael went on to start her own family, James has stayed with Impress Ipswich, and has made a big impact on the business and is now a Managing Partner.
The family went on to hire their first full time employee Holly, who became part of the Impress family, buying into its values with ease, whilst endearing herself to several existing customers as well as introducing some new ones.
Whilst the business has continued to grow, our core values have stayed the same, the most important part being that, we really do care about our customer, and each other within the office.
From the quality of our products to the quality of our puns, there are many reasons why we ‘Impress’ – we thought the following summed us up pretty well!

We love art and design at Impress Ipswich and have loads of experience in making the plainest products look premium. We strive to produce merchandise that your customers will want to keep – Just hand us your logo and we’ll do the rest!
Check, check and double check is pretty much our motto in the office. We’ll dot the i’s and cross the t’s on every order to make sure everything is how it should be, from your artwork to making sure your orders are delivered exactly when they are needed.
